KATHMANDU: The HPV vaccination campaign against cervical cancer, which was temporarily halted in the mountainous districts due to adverse weather conditions, will resume today.

Snowfall in regions such as Manang, Mustang, Dolpa, and Humla had caused delays in the vaccination process.

Dr. Prakash Budhathoki, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, provided this update in a regular video briefing.

Vaccination will continue in Manang, Mustang, and Humla on Monday, while Dolpa will begin its vaccination drive on March 6.

The nationwide campaign, which ran from February 4 to 18, achieved 92% of its target, according to the Ministry.
