Hip-Hop Star Raja Kumari in Nepal, Promoting ‘Luxury Tourism’ from Mustang to Pokhara

KATHMANDU: Indian-origin world-renowned American rapper Raja Kumari is currently visiting Nepal. She arrived last week with a team of Indian businessmen and entertainers, and is currently in Pokhara. A few days ago, she visited the Muktinath Temple in Mustang. The purpose of her visit to Nepal is to promote luxury tourism to the world. Recently, she participated in a tourism-related event in Pokhara.

While in Mustang, Raja Kumari enjoyed the natural beauty of the region and has been sharing captivating videos and photos on Instagram. On May 7, she will participate in a luxury tourism event in Kathmandu and will also perform at a musical concert in Basantapur on the same day. The event is being organized by Amaya Sojones and supported by Shangrila Spirits.

This is Raja Kumari’s third visit to Nepal. In 2017, she performed at Club Fahrenheit and also visited the Pashupatinath Temple. She has collaborated with artists such as Gwen Stefani, Fifth Harmony, Sidhu Moosewala, Knife Party, and A.R. Rahman. Her solo career includes debut singles like “Mute” (2016), “The Come Up” (2016), and “Bloodline” (2019). In 2022, she launched her independent label, “Godmother Records.”
