NEW YORK: Deeya Shrestha from Aanbukhaireni, Tanahun, has won the title of ‘Miss Nepal North America 2025’ held in New York, USA.

She surpassed 19 other contestants to claim the crown. With this victory, Diya has earned direct entry into next year’s Miss Nepal competition. She will also serve as a goodwill ambassador for the Nepal Tourism Board.

The grand finale took place Saturday night (Nepali time), where New York resident Diya was crowned the winner of the 8th edition of the pageant.

Krishna Subedi from Tennessee was declared the first runner-up, and Arya Koirala from Texas secured the second runner-up position.

The judging panel included actors Pradeep Khadka, Aanchal Sharma, Anup Bikram Shahi, former Miss Nepal Sadiksha Shrestha, and Sneha Shrestha, founder of the social organization Sneh Care.

Shailendra Shrestha, chief of the organizing body Dreams Universal, informed that the competition was successfully completed with great enthusiasm.
