KATHMANDU: The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) is set to hold its Secretariat meeting today.

Chairman KP Sharma Oli has called the meeting for 1 p.m. at his residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur.

The meeting will focus on the recent political developments following the ‘Gen Z’ protests and their impact within the party.

It is expected to finalize UML’s future strategy and chart a new course of action.

The Secretariat will discuss the party’s role in the current political context, organizational strengthening, and upcoming programs, and concrete decisions are likely.

This is the first Secretariat meeting of the UML since the Gen Z movement.
