KATHMANDU: Floods and landslides have completely blocked 19 road sections across Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

According to authorities, eight road sections in Koshi and 11 in Bagmati are impassable.

In Koshi Province, key highways such as the Koshi Highway, Siddhicharan Highway, Mid-Hill Highway, and Mechi Highway are blocked at multiple points due to landslides.

Similarly, in Bagmati Province, major routes including the Pasang Lhamu Highway, Araniko Highway, BP Highway, Kanti Lokpath, Madan Bhandari Highway, and the Mid-Hill Highway remain closed.

The police further confirmed that the Nepal–China border road, as well as the Kulekhani–Sisneri–Dakshinkali–Kathmandu road section, have also been completely obstructed.
