SINDHUPALCHOK: In Sindhupalchok’s Sunkoshi Rural Municipality–7, Panchkilo, a bus accident on the Jiri–Khadichaur road injured 20 people, including three minors.

The bus, bearing registration number BA Pra 03–001 Kha 2521, was traveling from Ramechhap via Charikot towards Kathmandu when it lost control and collided with the roadside embankment on Tuesday evening, according to police.

Upon receiving the news, a seven-member team led by Sub Inspector Ashok Mahato from Lamosanghu Police Post reached the site and rescued the injured.

All victims were then taken to Sindhu Sadabahar Hospital in Khadichaur for treatment.

The exact number of passengers on the bus is still unconfirmed.

Sindhupalchok District Police Office reported that the condition of all the injured is currently stable.
