KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel has called political leaders representing parties in the Federal Parliament, including Prime Minister Sushila Karki, for a dialogue.

This is the first time the President has called political party leaders, including the interim Prime Minister, for talks since the formation of the new government and the subsequent dissolution of the House of Representatives, with elections scheduled for March 5, 2026.

The President’s Secretariat stated that the discussions with party leaders will focus on contemporary political issues.

Amid public concern over the situation arising from the Gen Z Movement and fears of escalating conflict, political leaders are set to meet with the President.
