KATHMANDU: The film Muglan is set for release on December 25, as announced by the production team on Monday with the release of the first look.

The first look features lead actors Prabhat Pal and Smarika Dhakal in rural attire, hinting at a love story that covers Nepali village society and the theme of foreign-land background.

The film, produced under the Rehan Production banner by Goman Singh (and co-produced by Rita Chaudhary), is both written and directed by Aashish Dhakal.

The cast includes Prabhat Pal, Smarika Dhakal, Shree Shivanshi, Dinesh DC, Moti Subedi, and others.

With music by Kiran Bhusal, the film reveals the story of youth aspirations for foreign lands, village love, and struggle. RR Films is handling the distribution.
