KATHMANDU: The government has recalled all security personnel assigned to former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.
According to sources at the Ministry of Home Affairs, both Armed Police Force and Nepal Police officers deployed for his security have been withdrawn.
Previously, the government had assigned 16 APF personnel and 2 Nepal Police officers to provide security to Nepal.
The withdrawal comes in the wake of former Prime Minister Nepal being an accused in the corruption case related to the Patanjali land scandal.
