KATHMANDU: The government has recommended the President to summon the National Assembly session.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held in Singha Durbar today, recommended President Ramchandra Paudel to summon the NA session at 11:00am on January 18, according to government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel.
The government decided to provide 350 thousand US dollars in support for the reconstruction of an archive at Buddhist pagoda of Myanmar which was destroyed in the earthquake occurred in March 2025.
As a member state of ICIMOD, the annual contribution of 285 thousand US dollars for 2024 has been approved.
