KATHMANDU: The Special Convention of the Nepali Congress, called by two general secretaries, has published the voter list from the 14th regular convention. Sitaram KC, coordinator of the Central Election Committee, confirmed that the old voter list was used. According to him, there were 4,743 voters in the 14th convention, and the published list now includes 4,638 names.

“We have removed the names of deceased members and those who have left the party and published the remaining list,” KC said. Although the organizers of the Special Convention have registered representatives, the exact number could not be finalized. As a result, the election process has started using the old voter list.

KC also stated that the 134-member central committee will include 1 president, 2 vice presidents, 2 general secretaries, and 8 deputy general secretaries. The remaining 121 members will be central committee members, including 35 open-category positions.
