KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, said time has come for the major political parties to correct their mistakes and unified for the national prosperity.

Addressing a function organized at party central office Parisdanda to administer oath to the central members on Tuesday, Coordinator Dahal underscored the need for all sides’ cooperation to bolster national unity and independence along with renewed resolution. The major political parties need making self-compunction and move ahead by correcting past mistakes, he reiterated.

The Coordinator viewed, “Traditional manner does not assist in resolving the problems the country is facing at present. The country is facing an unprecedented crisis that can be coped only with a broader collaboration and new resolution. The party forwarded the unification drive by reaching the very conclusion.”

He shared happiness over the success of uniting 20 communist and socialist forces for the first time in history irrespective of adverse situation. With the unification, the party has been further dynamic, he asserted, vowing that the party would devote to ensuring corruption-free country.
