KATHMANDU: Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden has called for establishing his party as a strong force in the upcoming March 5 election to House of Representatives.

At the party unification programme organized at the RPP party office on Tuesday, Chairperson Lingden expressed his confidence that the public would endorse his party as a credible alternative political force in the upcoming election.

He expressed the confidence, stating that the agendas such as reinstatement of Nepal as a Hindu state and monarchy among others had emerged as some of the most popular issues at present.

Noting that polarization was taking place among the other nationalistic force with similar ideologies, he said that RPP, which had been divided into several factions in the previous election, would contest the upcoming election in unity.

Reaffirming party’s commitment to protecting the country’s history, civilization and national unity, the party leader emphasized the need for further strengthening the party organization.

He also stressed the importance of maintaining good-governance to address the prevailing political instability and confusion, asserting that his party was capable of resolving all these challenges.
