Nepal participates in Germany’s CMT fare

KATHMANDU: Nepal has participated in the prestigious Caravan, Motor and Tourism (CMT) fair organized in Stuttgart of Germany.

The fair took place on January 17-25 and the participation was to promote Nepal as the attractive tourism destination in European market.

President of the Nepal-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NGCCI) Santosh Chandra Kunwar discharged the responsibility of coordinating Nepali entrepreneurs during the fair. He told RSS that the fair is a pivotal event to connect the tourism of Nepal and Germany.

Kunwar was accompanied by Sher Bahadur Pariyar of the Nepal Reisin Treks and Expedition, Namgyal Sherpa of Sherpa Reisin GMHD, Germany and representatives of Sangreele Reisin.

All the participating tourism entrepreneurs had experience of more than three-decades in travel and tourism sector in Germany and European market.

As many as 266,000 visitors had observed the CMT fair this year.
