KATHMANDU: The parliamentary party of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided to nominate Saraswati Lama as its candidate for the post of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

RPP parliamentary party leader Gyan Bahadur Shahi announced the decision, confirming Lama’s candidacy.

According to Shahi, efforts are ongoing to reach a consensus on the selection of the Deputy Speaker, and discussions are being held with other political parties.
