KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has addressed the joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament at the multi-purpose meeting hall of Singha Durbar-based Federal Parliament Building.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Balendra Shah presented a copy of the President’s address to parliament.

President Paudel addressed the joint sitting of the lower house and the upper house of the Federal Parliament on the recommendation of the Cabinet in accordance with Article 95 of the Constitution of Nepal.

Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, ministers, and lawmakers of both houses were present in the meeting.

Earlier, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal and National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal welcomed President Paudel to the meeting hall.
