LALITPUR: Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has urged party lawmakers not to engage in factional politics.
Addressing a two-day training program for lawmakers in Lalitpur on Sunday, Lamichhane dismissed rumors of divisions such as “Rabi’s group” and “Balen’s group,” saying there was no room for internal camps within the party.
He said Nepal had fallen behind because leaders failed to unite in the past and added that RSP leaders were politically mature despite being new in politics.
Lamichhane also said the government was working to manage squatters and assured that no one would be left homeless.
