KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called a meeting of its Central Committee.

According to General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, the Secretariat meeting held on Sunday at the party’s central office in Banasthali decided to convene the Central Committee meeting on Wednesday.

Burlakoti said the meeting will discuss and approve the General Convention Procedure 2026 and propose the date for the party’s general convention, among other agenda items.

Earlier, the Secretariat meeting held on May 3 had approved the framework for selecting local-level election candidates and amended the parliamentary party statute.
