KATHMANDU: A Cabinet meeting is currently underway at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, called on the initiative of Prime Minister Balen Shah.

The meeting has been convened to approve the upcoming fiscal year’s policy and programme, which the government is set to present today.

The government is preparing to unveil the annual policy and programme for the fiscal year 2026/27 today.

As per the schedule, President Ramchandra Paudel will present the policy and programme in a joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament at 4 PM this afternoon.
