KATHMANDU: The Council of Ministers has approved the government’s policy and programme for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27 during a meeting held at Singha Durbar.

Government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel said the Cabinet endorsed the annual policy and programme.

The government is set to unveil the policy and programme for fiscal year 2026/27 today.

As per the schedule, President Paudel will present it in a joint session of both houses of Parliament at 4 PM this afternoon.
