KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has published the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results, with 65.98 percent of students passing this year.

The board announced the results on Monday evening during a press conference held at the Office of the Controller of Examinations in Sanothimi. Officials said the results would become available on websites shortly afterward.

The SEE examinations were conducted from April 2 to April 12. This year, answer sheets were checked at the examination centers themselves, which helped speed up the publication of the results.

A total of 512,421 students filled out examination forms this year. Among them, 441,566 students appeared under the regular category, while 70,855 students applied for grade improvement examinations.

Of the total applicants, 257,613 were female students, 254,801 were male students, and seven students identified under other categories.
