KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US Dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.20 and the selling rate at Rs 152.80.
The buying rate for one Euro is fixed at Rs 179.20 and the selling rate at Rs 179.91; the buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling at Rs 207.17 and the selling rate at Rs 107.99; and the buying rate for one Swiss Franc at Rs 195.60 and the selling rate at Rs 196.38.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is set at Rs 110.30 and the selling rate at Rs 110.73; the buying rate for one Canadian Dollar at Rs 111.40 and the selling rate at Rs 111.84; and the buying rate for one Singapore Dollar at Rs 119.92 and the selling rate at Rs 120.39.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is maintained at Rs 9.69 and the selling rate at Rs 9.73; the buying rate for one Chinese Yuan at Rs 22.39 and the selling rate at Rs 22.48; the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal at Rs 40.57 and the selling rate at Rs 40.73; and the buying rate for one Qatari Riyal at Rs 41.75 and the selling rate at Rs 41.92.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is fixed at Rs 4.70 and the selling rate at Rs 4.72; the buying rate for one UAE Dirham at Rs 41.44 and the selling rate at Rs 41.60; the buying rate for one Malaysian Ringgit at Rs 38.80 and the selling rate at Rs 38.95; the buying rate for 100 South Korean Won at Rs 10.34 and the selling rate at Rs 10.38; the buying rate for one Swedish Kroner at Rs 16.48 and the selling rate at Rs 16.54; and the buying rate for one Danish Kroner at Rs 23.98 and the selling rate at Rs 24.08.The Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at
Rs 19.44 and the selling rate at Rs 19.52; the buying rate for one Kuwaiti Dinar at Rs 496.98 and the selling rate at Rs 498.94; the buying rate for one Bahraini Dinar at Rs 403.45 and the selling rate at Rs 405.04; and the buying rate for one Omani Riyal at Rs 395.32 and the selling rate at Rs 396.88.
The buying rate for one hundred Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
The Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as per necessity. It is further mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
