KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) has appointed Padma Kumari Aryal as the deputy leader of its parliamentary party.

Aryal, who is also a member of the House of Representatives and party secretary, has been nominated to the post by parliamentary party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal.’

Badal currently serves as the leader of the UML parliamentary party.

Earlier, Ain Mahar was appointed chief whip and Nita Ghatani as whip of the parliamentary party.
