Cabinet approves four decisions including governance and land reform changes

KATHMANDU: The Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday has taken four major decisions, according to Minister for Communications and Information Technology Bikram Timsina.

The government has approved the Nepal Government Work Division Regulations, 2026 and also endorsed amendments to the Electronic Governance Commission (Formation and Operation) Order, 2022 .

The meeting also decided to appoint House of Representatives members Sushil Khadka (Baglung) and Yogesh Gauchan Thakali (Mustang) as members of the Government Investment Management Committee .

Similarly, the Cabinet approved the 21st amendment to the Land Regulations, 2026 , the minister said while announcing the decisions at a press briefing.
