Five new ministers sworn in following Lumbini cabinet realignment

KATHMANDU: Following the cabinet realignment of the Lumbini Provincial Government, five newly appointed ministers have taken their oath of office and secrecy.

Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar administered the oath to the newly appointed ministers on Monday at the Province Chief’s Office.

The cabinet was restructured on the recommendation of Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya, in accordance with Article 168, Clause (9) of the Constitution of Nepal.

The reshuffled cabinet includes five new ministers: four from the CPN (UML) and one from the Janata Samajbadi Party.

The newly appointed ministers are Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary, Dilli Raj Bhusal, Ramji Prasad Ghimire, Ratna Bahadur Khatri, and Bhandari Lal Ahir.

Regarding their portfolios, Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary has been assigned to the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management, and Cooperatives, and Dilli Raj Bhusal to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation.

Furthermore, Ramji Prasad Ghimire has taken charge of the Ministry of Health, Ratna Bahadur Khatri has been given the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, and Bhandari Lal Ahir has been designated for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law.
