KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) has made public a joint photograph with Home Minister Sudhan Gurung and Physical Infrastructure Minister Sunil Lamsal through social media.

Posting the picture on Facebook on Sunday evening, Prime Minister Shah wrote the caption, “Prime Minister, Home Minister, Infrastructure Minister – The Nation-Building Team!”

In the published photo, Prime Minister Shah is seen alongside both ministers.

This post was made public following the recently concluded cabinet reshuffle.

Home Minister Gurung, who is featured in the photo, returned to his responsibility at the Ministry of Home Affairs a few days ago.

He had resigned from his post on April 22 after questions were raised regarding property-related matters. Since then, Prime Minister Shah himself had been handling the responsibilities of the Home Ministry.

Following last week’s cabinet reshuffle, Gurung was reappointed as the Home Minister, while Lamsal continues to handle the responsibilities of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure.

Both ministers are known as leaders considered close to Prime Minister Shah.

The photograph shared by the Prime Minister and his accompanying “nation-building team” comment have become widely viral on social media.

Users have expressed various reactions and comments on the post.

However, Prime Minister Shah has not made public any additional political or policy opinions alongside the photo.

He has only briefly given the message, “The Nation-Building Team.”
