UDAYAPUR: A 14-year-old girl died after drowning while swimming in a deep section of the Devdhar stream in Chaudandigadhi Municipality-9, Udayapur, on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Ayusha Sada of Devdhar, according to the District Police Office, Udayapur.

Police said Sada drowned while bathing in a deep pool of the stream. Following the incident, her body was recovered and taken to Udayapur District Hospital on Wednesday night for a post-mortem examination.
