LALITPUR: Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Danielle Meuwly was seen visiting Anandaban Leprosy Hospital alongside representatives of Lepra-Mission Schweiz, a long-standing supporter of the hospital.

The delegation was seen observing the hospital’s work in treating leprosy and addressing the social stigma associated with the disease. The embassy said they were impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the hospital’s staff in providing care and support to patients.

According to the Embassy of Switzerland in Nepal, the visit underscored the continued need for medical care and social support for people affected by leprosy despite the disease receiving less public attention in recent years.
