Four persons charged with exploding cylinders in Baneshwor, Kathmandu on the day of the local level election have been remanded to judicial custody. A case has been filed against them in the Kathmandu District Court.

Police had launched a special operation to search for those involved in carrying out the blast on New Baneshwor Road. Harikrishna Thapa of Gorkha, Karan Shrestha of Lalitpur, Yuvraj Thapa of Bhojpur and Bharat Kumar Rai of Khotang have been arrested.
