One person died in a motorcycle accident in Tokha municipality 6 Greenland in Kathmandu.

26-year-old Savin Kandel of Panchkanya rural municipality 4 of Nuwakot died when his motorcycle ran out of control and hit an electric pole at 11:30 last night. Kandel died last night while undergoing treatment at the Maharajganj University Teaching Hospital, police said. 

A person riding behind the motorcycle was injured in the accident. The injured is identified as 22-year-old Sandesh Karki of Panchkanya rural municipality 4, Nuwakot. He is being treated at Grande Hospital in Tokha, Police Circle Maharajgunj said.

In another case, 55-year-old Bhadu Rajvanshi of Budhiganga 2 was injured when a motorcycle hit him at Budhiganga rural municipality 1, Morang on Monday at 8:30 pm. He is being treated at Birat Medical College, according to Nemuwa, the local police officer.
