KATHMANDU: The Office of the Problematic Cooperative Management Committee has started collecting necessary details to move forward with the savings refund process for depositors of troubled cooperatives.
Depositors have been asked to submit required claims and related documents to the committee. The committee stated that services related to savings refunds and work concerning government or public bodies will operate from 9 am to 3 pm.
A separate schedule has been introduced to manage the growing number of service seekers and make the process more effective.
Services such as grievance handling and statement distribution will be available only after 3 pm. The office has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the revised service schedule.
The committee has also clarified responsibilities for different services, including statement requests, application registration, grievance hearings, savings refund recommendations, loan and collateral-related procedures, legal cases, and property release or restrictions.
Depositors have been urged to contact the office on time with the required documents, with the committee pledging to make the process systematic and transparent.
