KATHMANDU: Police opened fire and arrested three suspected drug traffickers in Kuleshwor, Kathmandu, on Sunday afternoon.
A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau fired two rounds during the operation to apprehend the suspects, identifying them as two Nepali national and one Indian national. The Indian national sustained a gunshot wound to the leg during the incident.
Police recovered a significant stash of 24,700 ampoules of Tramadol from their possession. Further investigation into the case is underway.
