BEIJING: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, met with Wang Huning, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), in Beijing this morning.

The high-level meeting took place during Khanal’s ongoing four-day official visit to China.

Following the meeting, Minister Khanal expressed his delight regarding the discussions, which focused comprehensively on strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two neighboring nations.

According to the Foreign Minister, the talks covered a wide range of topics central to Nepal-China relations, including development cooperation, trade, investment, tourism, political exchanges, and people-to-people ties.

Minister Khanal noted that he highly appreciated Chairman Wang’s strong commitment to further deepening the long-standing friendship between Nepal and China.
