KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal held talks with Finland’s Ambassador to Nepal Petri Juhani Puhakka in Kathmandu on Thursday, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations.

Discussions centered on expanding cooperation in key sectors, including digitalization, green energy, and education. The meeting highlighted both countries’ interest in deepening engagement in emerging and sustainable development areas.

During the courtesy call, the ambassador also conveyed congratulations from Finland’s Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen on Khanal’s recent appointment.
