LONDON: British television presenter and former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, saying the disease was detected at an early stage and that he is undergoing treatment.

The announcement was made in the latest season of the TV series Clarkson’s Farm, where Clarkson told co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland that a biopsy confirmed the diagnosis. The 66-year-old said part of his prostate had been removed as part of his treatment and added that doctors identified the cancer in its early stages.

Clarkson said he expects to recover and reassured viewers that he would be “fine,” though he may be away from work for a period.

Health concerns have featured prominently in the show’s latest season. In 2024, Clarkson disclosed that he had undergone a heart procedure after doctors discovered significant blockages in arteries supplying blood to his heart, leading to the insertion of a stent.
