KATHMANDU: A sequel to the Nepali film Man Binako Dhan, released last year, is set to go into production, with actor and filmmaker Pooja Sharma confirmed as the lead actress.

The sequel will be directed and produced by Tank Budhathoki under the banner of Tank Budhathoki Productions. It will mark the production house’s second film project.

According to the production team, filming is expected to begin around August or September this year. However, the remaining cast members have yet to be announced.

The screenplay and dialogue for the film have been written by Shivam Adhikari, while the story and music will also be handled by Budhathoki. The film will be produced by Bishnu Maya Mainali.

The production team is currently focused on pre-production work and will finalize additional cast members in the coming weeks.
