KATHMANDU: Veteran folk singer Bam Bahadur Karki has released a new music video “Ma Hun Pani Sabko Jindagani” ( “I Am Water, Everyone’s Lifeline”) highlighting the importance of water as the foundation of life.

The video was launched in Kathmandu by actor Rajesh Hamal at an event attended by Karishma Manandhar and other artists.

The song carries an environmental message urging water conservation and features Rajesh Hamal and Karishma Manandhar together after a long time.

Hamal portrays water’s significance, while Manandhar showcases nature through performance.

The song is written and composed by Karki, with vocals from Shiva Ale Karki, Lochan Bhattarai, and Arjun Sonam.

Directed by Devendra Pandey, the video features Nepal’s natural landscapes and promotes the message that water is life and must be protected.
