KATHMANDU: Ten people were injured after an electric vehicle crashed at Lambagar in Indrasarowar Rural Municipality-2 of Makwanpur along the Sisneri–Dakshinkali–Kathmandu road section late Monday night.

Police said the vehicle heading from Kathmandu to Hetauda suffered brake failure at around 11:10 pm and hit a roadside wall.

The vehicle was carrying 11 people, including nine Indian nationals and two Nepalis. The driver and another Nepali passenger were unharmed.

The injured, mostly Indian nationals from Bihar’s Darbhanga district, are undergoing treatment at Alka Hospital in Lalitpur, while one Nepali passenger returned home after treatment.
