KATARI: The Siddhicharan Highway at Daldale in Ward No. 14 of Katari Municipality, Udayapur, has been completely blocked due to flooding triggered by unseasonal rainfall on May 9.

Nepal Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General Abi Narayan Kafle informed that the highway section at Daldale, Katari–14, has remained fully obstructed since Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Nepal Police has stated that all vehicular movement along the BP Highway section connecting Kavrepalanchok’s Sindhuli Khurkot–Nepalthok–Katunjebesi route has been restricted from 5 PM to 5 AM daily with effect from May 4.

The restriction has been imposed until further notice, considering the risk of possible flooding in the area.
