Eight ordinances tabled in today’s HoR session

KATHMANDU: Eight ordinances were presented in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

On behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam presented several ordinances, including the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, the Special Provision on Removal of Public Officials Ordinance, 2026, and the Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers and Procedure) First Amendment Ordinance, 2026.

Minister Gautam also tabled the Some Nepal Acts Amendment Ordinance, 2026.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle presented the Asset (Money Laundering) Prevention Third Amendment Ordinance, 2026.

Health and Population Minister Nisha Mehta presented the Some Nepal Acts Related to Health Sciences Institutions Amendment Ordinance, 2026.

Education, Science and Technology Minister Sasmit Pokharel presented the Universities Related Some Nepal Acts Amendment Ordinance, 2026.

Similarly, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Pratibha Rawal tabled the Cooperatives (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2026 in the House.
