KATHMANDU: Umesh Shrestha has been appointed treasurer of the central working committee of Nepali Congress once again.

According to acting chief secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal, party president Gagan Thapa nominated Shrestha to the post in line with Article 21 (4) of the party statute.

Shrestha had previously also served as the party’s treasurer.
