KATHMANDU: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Devraj Ghimire, has arranged a meeting with party chief whips at Singha Durbar at 3 pm, as per the Speaker’s Secretariat.

The discussion will focus on various matters, including the ordinance that has been strongly opposed by the opposition parties.

Attendees will include Nepali Congress Chief Whip Shyam Ghimire, UML’s Mahesh Kumar Bartaula, Maoist Center’s Hitraj Pandey, and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar.

The parliamentary session is scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday), despite ongoing disagreements between the ruling party and the opposition regarding the ordinance.
