JHAPA: A 65-year-old man lost his life in Jhapa on Wednesday night after a house collapsed during a storm accompanied by rainfall.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the Jhapa District Police Office confirmed that the deceased was identified as Man Bahadur Magar, a resident of Haldibari Rural Municipality-5, Tribeni Chowk.

According to police, Magar died after a beam from a tin-roofed house collapsed and struck him amid strong winds.
