11 SPs recommended for promotion to SSP

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the promotion of 11 Superintendents of Police (SP) to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).

The promotion committee meeting held on Monday recommended the promotion.

Those recommended include Tul Bahadur Karki (Gandaki Province Police Office, Pokhara), Ramesh Singh (Koshi Province Police Office), Rajiv Bahadur Basnet (Karnali Province Police Office, Surkhet), and Kamal Thapa (Nepal Police Headquarters, Naxal).

Similarly, others are Prabin Bhandari (Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office), Rameshram Thapa (Crime Investigation Division, Kathmandu), Anil Prasad Upreti (Service Administration Branch), and Bipin Paudel (Koshi Province Police Office, Biratnagar).

Moreover, Dayanidhi Bastola (Nepal Police Office, Samakhushi), Siddharaj Shahi (District Police Office, Darchula), and Kedar Khanal (District Police Office, Bardiya) have also been promoted.

On the same day, the promotion committee also recommended 11 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) for elevation to Superintendent of Police (SP).

The DSPs proposed for promotion include Anil Khadka, Mahesh Thapa, Dipendra Panjiyar Tharu, Mahendra Nepal, Rupak Khadka, Prem Sagar KC, Dil Bahadur Malla, Keshav Bhattarai, Bhuvaneshwar Prasad Sah, Sunil Malla, and Deepak Khadka.
