KATHMANDU: The final match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be broadcast live for free on Nepal Television’s NTV Plus channel.

Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Bikram Timsina, announced that NTV Plus will provide free live coverage of the highly anticipated World Cup final tonight.

Defending champions Argentina and European champions Spain clash tonight in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final.

With this announcement, Nepali viewers will be able to watch the decisive clash for world football’s ultimate trophy on NTV Plus without paying any additional fees.

Given the immense interest of Nepali football fans in the World Cup final, the announcement of a free broadcast on the state-owned television channel is expected to benefit a large number of viewers.

Previously, the FIFA World Cup third-place play-off match between France and England was also broadcast for free on NTV Plus.
