KATHMANDU: Dr. Shekhar Koirala’s faction of the Nepali Congress held a meeting at his Bishalnagar contact office on Friday morning to finalize the schedule for the party’s regular general convention.

Attendees of the faction meeting included Vice President Dhanraj Gurung, General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma, and Deputy General Secretaries Jeewan Pariyar and Badri Pandey.

After the meeting, General Secretaries Sharma and Thapa met Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka to present the finalized schedule and secure his approval.

The effort aims to ensure the convention timetable receives unanimous support and resolve the party’s internal deadlock.
