KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki and top leaders of major three political parties will be meeting this afternoon to discuss about the election to the House of Representatives ( HoR) announced for March 5, 2026.
Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal are attending the meeting to take place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel said the meeting will be focused on the election.
The government founded on the September 8-9 Gen Z movement has continued talks and dialogue with the political parties aiming to ensure the timely conduct of the election by normalsing the post-movement situation.
On Friday, Minister Kharel held separate meetings with the top leaders of major political parties upon reaching their residences.
