KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is organizing an orientation program for newly elected MPs from both the direct and proportional representation systems on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today, Tuesday, the RSP started the first day of the orientation program at the Royal Tulip in Gwarko, Lalitpur. A total of 182 MPs – 125 directly elected and 57 through proportional representation – participated in the orientation program.

The RSP stated that former secretaries of the Government of Nepal, IT experts, and other professionals provided information on various topics during the orientation.

RSP Vice-Chairpersons Dol Prasad Aryal and Swarnim Wagle inaugurated the orientation by ringing the bell, the election symbol of the party.
