Brazilian DJ and music producer Alok is set to perform in Nepal on Friday at the LOD Club in Thamel. He is known worldwide for his electronic dance music. He gained international recognition in 2016 with his hit song ‘Hear Me Now’, which became a huge success worldwide. Never Let Me Go, Big Jet Plane, Favela, Love Again are his hit songs. DJ Mag has ranked him at number 20 in the world’s top 100. He has worked with big names like Jason Derulo, Tove Lo, Alan Walker and Steve Aoki.

Director Bhupen Kuwar informed that the club has reserved tickets for his performance at Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000. Earlier, Bollywood artists including Neha Kakkar, Armaan Mallik and Indian Idol Pawandeep have performed at LOD. Artists such as Timmy Trumpet, Topic, Stebeen Ben, Jyotika Tangari have also performed. He also has the Alok Institute in Brazil, which works in the education and social sectors. LOD Club ‘Lord of the Drinks’ is a club that has been ranked 49th, 52nd and 50th among the best clubs in the world.
