DSP Kishor Lamsal named best police officer in Koshi

BIRATNAGAR: The Koshi Province Police Office, Biratnagar, has declared Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kishor Lamsal of the Area Police Office, Damak, as the best police officer for the February to mid-March period, citing his high morale, adherence to departmental standards, and operational effectiveness.

Lamsal played a key role in maintaining security during the March 5 House of Representatives election in Jhapa-5 and in preventing untoward incidents. He also led the recovery of a looted Mark 4 rifle and the arrest of 19 suspects linked to the Gen Z protest.

According to the police records, Lamsal helped resolve all 10 protest-related cases among the 35 cases registered between February 13 and March 14, coordinated the repair of the damaged police office, took action against 217 noise-polluting motorcycles, and contributed to arresting 22 fugitives.
